The Services We Offer

NARKOVET CONSULTING® supports veterinary practices in building competency teams skilled in delivering state-of-the-art anesthesia & analgesia care and provides in-house anesthesia care or supervision of such care. Rapid advancements in veterinary health care and both current and anticipated future adjustments of anesthesia and pain management guidelines like those developed by ACVAA, Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists (AVA), and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) call for a timely and prompt action. NARKOVET CONSULTING® offers veterinary practices seminar courses and individually tailored training programs intended to advance the knowledge and practical skill level of those practice members in charge of delivering anesthesia & analgesia. In addition, NARKOVET CONSULTING® will serve the anesthesia team as an easy accessible consultation and continued education source, thereby helping the team to stay up to date with new developments and cope with new challenges.

At NARKOVET CONSULTING® we are interested in building a long-term partnership with our clients, independent of whether we are called to (a) help veterinary health care providers build competency teams skilled in providing high quality anesthesia & analgesia care, (b) provide state-of-the-art anesthesia care, or (c) provide consultation for and supervision of a client’s anesthesia team by our board-certified anesthesiologists. Once operating procedures are established, we offer a continuous consultation program intended to assist the client’s anesthesia team with staying up-to-date with new developments in veterinary anesthesia & analgesia, coping with future challenges, and with having immediate access to expert support when and where ever desired.

• Building, Schooling, and Coaching Anesthesia Teams through:
• NARKOVET Seminar-Training: Principles of Small Animal or Equine Anesthesia & Perioperative Analgesia (species-specific seminar courses – with certificate option)
• NARKOVET On-Site-Practice-Training: Clinical Practice of Small Animal or Equine Anesthesia & Perioperative Analgesia (In-house training with option for workshops)
• Continuous coaching of the anesthesia team through case-based anesthesia protocol consultation and continued education seminars and workshops
• On individual practice basis supervision of anesthesia & analgesia care team by board-certified anesthesiologists in house or via use of telemedicine technology
• Specialist anesthesia & analgesia care in the clinical setting
• On-site delivery of state-of-the-art anesthesia & analgesia management by veterinary anesthesiologists
• Establishing new or refining previously used anesthesia & analgesia protocols
• Expert consulting (by board-certified veterinary anesthesiologists or other specialists)
• Developing optimized veterinary anesthesia & analgesia protocols tailored to the needs of the individual client/practice group
• Off-site (telemetric) anesthesia monitoring, anesthesia supervision, and consultation as per request
• Retrospective case-based review of anesthesia case management
• Development of client-tailored and/or case-specific veterinary anesthesia & analgesia protocols
• Providing expert opinion for desirable investments in anesthesia and monitoring equipment under aspects of usefulness, efficacy, and cost.
